I was sent some really nice products from mark, a online cosmetic company. i tried out the sample products (foundation,powder,blush,lipgloss,mascara) and i have to say i was very happy with the products. the brand was new to me and i had only seen little news about it. but i definitely think it is worth checking out. mark is very reasonably priced and high quality. my favorite products were probably the blushes and the powders. over all i would suggest checking them out!

Recently, i have been trying out these products from the Not Your Mothers hair product brand. I was skeptical at first of their quality because of their low prices ( about 6 dollars each) but when trying them out i was pleasantly surprised. I have the curl cream, the texturing spray and the heat protecter, below i will review them in fuller depth.

Kinky Moves Curl Defining Hair Cream:

Thoughts: With my curly hair i usually reach for a gel or a spray. I used to feel that hair creams were too thick for my hair or made my curls much to producty feeling. but my thoughts have changed. I love this product for my curls. It takes out all the frizz and leaves my curls smooth and detangled. the smell of the products at first was not my favorite but after having it in my hair the smell really started to grow on my and stayed with my hair for a long time. The price of this products is also amazing! it is only 6 dollars ( in most places) for 4oz of product. Overall a great new product that i will definitely buy again!

How I use: right out of the shower i comb my hair over and scrunch out the water, then with a towel i scrunch again to make sure my hair is just damp. Then i take about a nickel size amount of product and run it over the top and bottom of my hair. i finish off my scrunching my hair then let it hair dry.

Beach Babe Texturizing Sea Salt Spray:

Thoughts: I have been wanting to try this spray for a while. I always loved going to the beach and getting those natural beachy waves. when i used this product my hair was defiantly more wavy then curly and had more of a beachy vibe, but it was not the exact same as the ocean. I have curly hair to begin with so this product really just helped my hair with the frizz and tame my curls. I am not sure how it would work on straight hair but for curly or wavy hair it gives a fun and loser curl. It smells really nice and does not feel sticky at all. I also liked this product as a refresher for my curls through out the day. It is a very fun product that is perfect for the summer. ( it is also only 6 dollers)

How I use: i use this product much the same as i do with the curl cream. the only difference is that through out the day i spray more of it in to refresh any fallen curls and tame any frizz.

Beat The Heat Thermal Shield Spray:

Thoughts: I never really used any heat sprays before this one and i never really found the need to. But after using this one i realized why they are really great. This spray helped to keep my hair straight longer and created a much silkier final look. there is not much of a smell this one though it does not smell like harsh chemicals. i just sprayed it in pryer to using heat on my hair and the product did the rest of the work. ( it is 6 dollars as well)

How I use: After my hair is totally dry i section my hair off in layers. I spray on the layers then comb it through my hair. After the hair is sprayed, i continue to use as much heat as desired.

All in all, i am really happy i have found this line. It is so affordable and i really love the effects it gives to my hair. The products smell great and look soo cute! i hope you all try these products and love them as much i do!
